We believe that Science encompasses the acquisition of knowledge, concepts and skills. We know that a high quality science education provides the foundations for understanding the world.

We want our children to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena through a build up of key foundational knowledge and the opportunity to investigate.

We aim to allow pupils to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes.
